Yoga flow classes are open to all and no previous yoga experience is necessary, though these are dynamic and energetic ‘vinyasa’ yoga style. We warm up and flow with our breath through sun salutes, incorporating other poses and balances to stretch and strengthen the whole body. Always finishing with our cool down and lovely relaxation time.
Mum & Baby Post Natal Yoga
Post-Natal classes are focused on releasing achy muscles with gentle stretching, restoring the core and strengthening pelvic floors. We use various adapted Yoga poses and even work in some pilates inspired yoga sequences. Mum & Baby Yoga can be a great time to spend interacting and bonding with your baby as well as meeting other mums. You are free to stop and attend to your baby at any stage during the class. There are also adaptations to incorporate your baby in to lots of mummy movements and poses.
Post-natal classes are suitable for women from 6 weeks post natural delivery or 12 weeks post C-Section.
Private 121 Yoga
Pregnancy, post-natal and traditional yoga sessions can be arranged on a private or small group basis, please get in touch via our contact page to arrange. These sessions are a great way to focus on individual needs, specific health concerns and injuries using tailored modifications, as well as for those wanted to further their own yoga practice.
Pregnancy classes incorporate adapted yoga poses, to stretch and strengthen your body, pelvic floor exercises, as well as poses and breathing techniques for labour and birth. Always finishing with some lovely relaxation time. All this is designed to make you more comfortable, try to help alleviate common pregnancy conditions, improve sleep and release achy muscles. Our small groups mean classes can be tailored and attention given to the individual, as well as being a great way to meet other expectant mothers in the local area. Suitable for women in their second and third trimester. No previous yoga experience necessary
